Hey there internet queens and kings. Don't you hate it when you selflessly do something for someone else just to find that they didn't consider all the hard work you put into it? It's never a comfortable feeling to have your efforts unnoticed, especially when it results in you going to bed hungry. 

In this Reddit story, this woman has been cooking and cleaning all day. Her husband messages her that he wants tacos for dinner, so she preps a salad, side dishes, and makes the tacos. It's not even so much that he didn't notice her efforts, he burnt all of the tacos and she had to remake them. Then when she goes to the bathroom, she comes out to find her family has eaten everything without her. The food that she slaved away making. A selfish loser, if you ask CheezCake.     I also might have been gone for longer? i'm adhd and lose track of time, it could've been 15- 20 minutes possibly? truly, i don't know exactly i didn't time myself but it wasn't too long but long enough to believe they ate all that food.

    he only put 2 aside because i don't eat much at all, i'm on stimulant meds and do not have an appetite and told him i only want 1 taco, he left 2 just incase but gave both to our daughter.l personally would have given her my taco.

    Lunakill ⚫18h ago NTA. Screaming is never ideal but it's very understandable. Your husband is an adult. It is a reasonable expectation that everyone grab 1-2 tacos and then wait for you to get yours before finishing them.

    NTA. I'd have screamed at the jerk too. You were exhausted and frustrated, so your anger can be excused. Next time, say no to time- consuming food orders. Keep it simple so you don't overtax yourself.
